The Application of Historic Paint Colors with Ann Gumpper

Master Artist • Scenic Designer • Color Expert

Color tells a story — and in historic spaces, it tells the story.

Join the Duluth Preservation Alliance for a special evening with Ann Gumpper, master artist, scenic designer, and nationally respected color expert, as she explores the thoughtful application of historic paint colors.

Ann will share insight into how color was originally used in period homes and buildings, how historic palettes were developed, and how we can accurately and beautifully apply those colors today. Whether you’re restoring a historic property, renovating a vintage home, or simply love thoughtful design, this program will deepen your understanding of how color shapes architectural character.
