Edward & Anetta Forsyth Residence

Another fine work of William Hunt’s, an American Four Square form with Craftsman and Prairie style architectural details. The house was constructed by contractor George Loundsberry, who in 1915 built Morgan Park’s Lake View Store, considered the first indoor mall in the U.S. It contained dozens of businesses, and an estimated 10,000 people toured the mall on its opening day. Edward Forsythe was secretary-treasurer of the W. S. Moore Company.
