Tour Bridgeman Russell Building

10 West 1st Street, Duluth, MN

Please join the Duluth Preservation Alliance on Tuesday, October 18, 6:00 – 8:00 pm, to tour apartment #302 in the Bridgeman Russell Building at 10 West First Street. This is a chance to see what an adapted-reuse of an old building can look like.

The building was built in 1905-1907 and was the headquarters for the Bridgeman Russell Creamery. The Architect was John Wangenstein. After falling into disrepair and abandoned, it was purchased by A&L Properties and was rehabilitated into apartments in 2006.

Doug Stevens will lead us on a tour through the building. We will be able to view the exercise room, laundry room and the underground parking.  Several tours will be given during the two-hour time frame. This building has a secured entry; to enter the building dial #302, and you will be let in.  Then take the elevator up to the third floor.

Parking is free after 5:30 on First Street.

All are welcome to attend this free event.
