Duluth’s Early Architects Presentation

First Presbyterian Church of Duluth, 300 East 2nd Street, Duluth, MN

Have you ever wondered who designed the Civic Center? Glensheen? Enger Tower? Dennis Lamkin has gathered information on many of the most prominent architects working in Duluth from 1890 to about 1950. You’ll be amazed at the number of architects who followed the money to Duluth and who left after the building boom was over … where did they go?

You’ll have to come to the Edison Room of the First Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, June 13th at 7:00 P.M. to hear the history.  First Presbyterian Church is on Second Street and Third Avenue East, just up the hill from Greysolon Plaza.

EVENT UPDATE: Here is Dennis Lamkin’s presentation here.
