2012 Centennial Homes

The DPA recognized one 100 year old home on May 15 at the Greysolen Plaza at 231 East Superior Street.

Abbot

This house was designed by F.W. German, and built for W.P. Abbot in 1912 at a cost of $5,000. The house has had only three other owners in 100 years. Today it is the home of Craig and Carol Carlson. It has its original stucco exterior. Craig and Carol have restored the woodwork and hardwood floors, added a garage, and updated the kitchen, plumbing and electrical work.
